'World’s Smallest Atom-Memory Unit’ Created for Smaller, Faster, More Energy-Efficient Computing Chips

Researchers claim to have created the world’s smallest memory device that may lead to faster, smaller, and more energy-efficient electronic chips for consumer electronics and brain-inspired computing. The scientists reduced the size of the thinnest memory storage device to just a single square nanometre.
